So I made
it my life.
The Darkroom Workshop in Chicago was a breeding ground in the 70s and 80s for aspiring photographers of every stripe. Under the mentorship of John S. Butsch, Joe Rawly and Jean-Claude LeJeune, my passion for visual media was kindled. Expanding to film production and editing, I discovered the power of the story to awaken, inspire, inform, entertain and surprise. It is the power to connect through empathy and shared experiences.
The story leaps off the screen as its characters take life. As they connect with each other, we connect with them. They drive our hopes and fears down broad thoroughfares and blind alleys, propelling the story toward its inevitable conclusion.
